no, not a travel blog. no, not weepy wistfulness. just the day-to-day and the pass-and-see and the lament-of-the-wet.
week 1: discovering domestic duties, meeting the new house, buying the necessities, attempting exploration, growing blisters, passing international orientation.
week 2: catching up with the time zone, finding a coffeepot, filling the room, tacking up curtains, learning the "language", camping in the northeast, liking the roommates.
week 3: joining potentially exciting societies, starting the classes, reading, reading, reading, cooking every meal for myself, reading, reading, reading, wishing timidity away.
surprised by literary rigor -- pleasantly. sleepy, always sleepy.
word-pictures to come soon, disposable-pictures thereafter, digital-pictures after that.
my heart is in atlanta.

Dearest,
Fall is here cool, windy and crisp. Linus is panting just a little less, and memories of loss wont let me rest. I miss you!
Amaris,
I hope your time in England goes by quick. Do you remember when we'd have dates? I do. I miss those times when we would make cookies and go on walks. I miss you and can't wait to see you.
